NOURA ALAMEERI & OMAR ALMATARI

Kuwaiti entrepreneur Noura AlAmeeri is bringing the heat to her city with Fired Pizza. From red-hot spicy pepperoni to umami-rich truffle, her pizzeria’s freshly baked slices always hit the spot. It was only fitting that Fired played host to Level’s first activation in Kuwait earlier this year. For our campaign, Noura was photographed with her childhood friend Omar AlMatari.

In our city, Ramadan is… a time of communal iftars, vibrant decorations, and the comforting embrace of prayers. Family and friends gather for shared meals, fostering a sense of unity. We prioritise self-discipline, reflection, and volunteering, weaving the spirit of generosity into these cherished moments.

Family is everything because… family connections provide emotional support, strengthen bonds, and contribute to overall well-being.

The best way to win over your guests is to… create a welcoming atmosphere, offer genuine hospitality, and ensure their needs are anticipated and met.

I know the best spot in town for… buying traditional attire and all else you would need. Head to Al-Mubarkiya Souq.

Great things are coming… but I have to keep them a secret for now. There is always space for me to grow and push boundaries.

AMAL DOKOR, IBRAHIM AKKAOUI & MOHAMAD AKKAOUI

Nostalgia, family, and delectable manaéesh are at the heart of this trio. From a humble eatery in Abu Dhabi to an ongoing successful pop-up in Dubai’s Alserkal Avenue, Mohamad Akkaoui and his dad have transformed Akhu Manoushe into the city’s go-to spot for sumptuous, oven-baked Levantine flatbread. Mohamad was captured with his mum and dad for our Ramadan campaign.

I connect with my community by… putting a smile on their face through food and storytelling I believe that the best way to showcase your culture, tradition, and how you’re raised is by sharing a meal with someone. You can tell a lot about the person by how they talk about their recipes, their stories and memories of a certain dish, the way they present the dish, and how they eat it.

Breaking bread together starts with… gratitude.

The best way to win over your guests is to… express the why behind the dish. Choosing what you’re going to feed people is not an easy decision. Taking your guest through the journey of why you chose this dish can win them over and get them fully excited about the experience at hand.

I know the best spot in town for… manaéesh!

What I order for the table… I usually over order for the table because I would like to make sure everyone leaves fulfilled, stuffed and happy.
